Phoenix More Than Doubles Revenue, Delivering 109% Year-on-Year Growth

Phoenix has delivered 109% revenue growth year-on-year in 2026, more than doubling the business in a single year – a result built on far more than the number itself. Even more significantly, the agency added more revenue in one year than the entire business generated the previous year.

It's a shift we can sincerely feel in the work. We're experiencing bigger confidence from our clients and bigger opportunities to do work that matters. Human experience is what Phoenix has always been built on, and it’s shown in a steady run of major client wins and repeat business, a growing and ever brilliant team, and expanding capability across incentives, travel and design.

Thriving across the board

This year, incentives and travel have become one of the fastest-growing parts of what we do. Having formalised a capability our clients have been quietly relying on for years, our team is currently running 14 incentive programs at once, ranging from intimate groups of 40 to large-scale programs of 800, delivered both domestically and globally – with the same level of care given to every guest journey, whatever the size.

Our in-house design team has also been in full swing, delivering 18 brand activations and full-scale event builds this year (and counting), from immersive branded zones with custom photo moments to full event rebrands complete with bespoke oversized props and culturally-led activations.

Trusted again, and going bigger

2026 has brought some of our biggest briefs yet, with a widening range of industries putting their most important moments in Phoenix's hands. Brand activations this year have included Ford Racing, Ford Australia, the Good Friday Appeal and Lamborghini, while our incentives team has executed 14 programs for Toshiba, Ford Australia, Lamborghini, Thermomix, Michelin, Talent Australia and Rate Money.

The work hasn't gone unnoticed, with Phoenix picking up eight national nominations at the 2026 Australian Event Awards, including recognition for the ASUS Partner Summit, Thermomix's Leadership Conference and the Good Friday Appeal's Kids Day Out.

Phoenix has continued deepening some of its longest-running client relationships, with trust built over time showing up in bigger, more ambitious work. Ford Australia called on Phoenix once again for its Australian Grand Prix activation, this year delivering its most elaborate build yet as official experience partner for Ford Racing's landmark debut season in Formula 1.

The same was true for the Kids Day Out, with Phoenix returning in 2026 and going further still – a full 'Festival of Colour' concept and a slate of new activations for the 90,000+ families who attended, helping raise $25.3 million for the Royal Children's Hospital.

This repeat trust comes from clients feeling the human experience behind every project we deliver, and from working with a team that cares about getting the details right. Our combination of consistency and connection is what has turned individual projects into long-term partnerships.

“Getting to know our clients deeply, their people, their pressures, what really matters to them, that’s always been the starting point for Phoenix. Commercially, it’s translated into something we’re very proud of, but at the end of the day, it's a reflection of the amazing relationships we’ve invested real time and attention into over the years." – Amber Coupe, Founder and Creative Director

A growing team to match

None of this happens without the people behind it, and Phoenix has grown to match the scale of the work. The team has expanded by nearly 50% over the past 12 months, with our latest additions in project management and coordination supporting a growing volume of client projects.

Through it all, the human connection that holds the team together has only grown stronger. It's a culture we've built deliberately, driven by our Extended Leadership Team, and it shows up as much in how the team treats each other as how they treat clients. It’s the foundation that’s made this year's tremendous growth possible.

“Growth only means something if the people behind it are growing too. We've been deliberate about who we bring in and how we bring them in, because the culture that's got us here is the same thing that's going to take Phoenix even further.” – Ben Coupe, CEO

Phoenix is heading into the rest of the year with real momentum behind it. We're looking ahead to bolder, more expansive projects, client relationships that only deepen from here, and a team that will keep growing before the year is out. Whatever comes next, we're ready for it.
