The finalists for the 2026 Australian Event Awards have been announced, and Phoenix is incredibly proud to have received eight national nominations this year, with six events shortlisted in the Best National Event category and two national nominations for PCO of the Year and Corporate Event Agency of the Year.
For us, eight nominations is beyond simply recognition of eight great pieces of work. These nominations represent the people, partnerships and trust behind them. Phoenix has experienced an extraordinary period of growth, but we've always believed that growth means very little if the people behind it aren't growing too. Our Human Experience philosophy starts inside our own four walls. We work incredibly hard to create an environment where talented people are challenged, trusted, valued and given a genuine platform to shine – both within Phoenix and alongside our clients.
Our nominations touch every corner of the experiences Phoenix delivers, recognising the incredible work our team had delivered for our clients across Australia.
Phoenix has built a strong track record at the Australian Event Awards, including two state wins and seven nominations in 2025. This year, that momentum has grown, with eight national nominations and six extraordinary client events recognized including work from two significant new Phoenix partnerships with ASUS and Thermomix.
For founder Amber Coupe, this result for Phoenix truly comes down to the people behind it.

The Australian Event Awards are one of the industry's most significant benchmarks, celebrating outstanding work across corporate, community and brand experiences each year. In 2026, nominations were received from around 110 events and companies nationally, a real sign of the great energy across our industry right now. We're delighted with our eight national nominations, a wonderful recognition of the work, culture, people and partnerships that made it all possible.
Winners will be announced at the Event Awards Ceremony on Wednesday 21 October, 2026 in Coffs Harbour, NSW.
