The Client: Camp Quality
The Brief:
Camp Quality is a not-for-profit organisation providing services to children fighting cancer. They work to give kids facing cancer the change to be kids again! The Phoenix team were thrilled to be enlisted as the official event planners for the Camp Quality Off the Menu Gala Dinner in May 2019. Off the Menu events run in Melbourne, Adelaide & Brisbane and aim to raise money for families with children fighting cancer. Camp Quality Off the Menu gala dinner brings together chefs from across the country who donate their time, teams, and culinary skills to help raise funds for this incredible cause.
Phoenix were responsible for the end-to-end project management of the gala dinner which included theme and concept design, partner acquisition, programming, talent management and all event logistics including staffing, AV & technical management, running order on the night, activations, sub-contractor documentation, food & beverage coordination and event day, bump in and bump out.
The Result:
For Camp Quality Off the Menu 2019 we went down the rabbit hole to create a Wonderland themed gala dinner! Guests at the event enjoyed entertainment from Australian pop icon, Dean Lewis and the remarkable talents of the Australian Ballet. The renowned chefs provided 7 whimsical, crazily scrumptious bespoke dishes and cocktails poured straight from a Mad Hatter shaped ice sculpture.
The Phoenix team were honoured to manage and execute this incredible event for Camp Quality. Providing guests with an unforgettable experience and most importantly, raising a whopping $370,000 for such an important cause.
