Commonwealth Bank / Annual Gala Ball

The Client:  Commonwealth Bank (CBA)
 

The Brief:  The CBA Charity Gala Ball is an annual event to raise money for charity. The event is held each year at the Crown Palladium in the ballroom.
 
Phoenix have been engaged for the last five years to produce and event manage all of the entertainment for around 1000 guests. An important part of the brief each year is to come up with a new and innovative theme for the entertainment that impresses the audience more than the previous year and sets the mood for a successful charity auction.
 
Each year Phoenix develops a different theme, designs and choreographs a stage show, designs all costumes, comes up with the event styling and manages all lighting and audio visual for the event.
 

The Result:  Designing and producing a full scale floor show is an opportunity for the Phoenix team to showcase their significant creative and dramatic strengths. Each year the team has developed a different theme. Themes have included circus, Strictly Ballroom, masquerade, carnival, and the Olympics.
 
Over the past five years the Commonwealth Bank Gala Ball has become increasingly popular, with positive feedback from guests about the high quality entertainment and the professionalism of the stage show.
 
Phoenix is delighted to have been given the opportunity to produce the entertainment for the event again in 2017.
