The Client: Dubai Rugby 7’s

The Brief:  The Dubai Rugby 7’s International Series Tournament is held each year over a week in Dubai. Phoenix was engaged to provide all on field entertainment for over 100,000 spectators
 
Phoenix has produced and managed all event entertainment for the tournament since 2006. Production includes being responsible for all choreography, lighting and costumes.
 

The Result:  With a background in performance, the Phoenix team is in its element creating dramatic choreographed shows for large crowds.

Entertainment included a lavish opening ceremony, as well as a number of separate performances that occurred on the field in between games. Entertainment included cheer leading, mascots, and dancers.
 
As a full service, event entertainment company, Phoenix organised for all performers and production equipment to be brought from Australia and were onsite to manage each performance, all lighting and audio visual requirements.
 
The opening ceremony and on field entertainment received overwhelmingly positive feedback from the client, as well as enthusiastic crowd applause. On the basis of the production, Phoenix has been engaged to produce all event entertainment for next year’s Dubai Rugby 7’s.
