Background
Founded by two Aussies, Karl Redenbach and Peter Nguyen-Brown, LiveTiles was listed by the Australian Financial Review as the fastest growing tech company in Australia in 2020. With a global presence across the United States, Canada, and Europe, LiveTiles has established itself as a world leader in workplace technology.
At the heart of the vision and mission at LiveTiles is a cultural ambition to inspire their customers and themselves to love your work. They push the art of the possible to revolutionize the way people work technologically and strive to have the same impact socially.
The question was: in a global pandemic when business has been turned on its head and departments and teams are isolated like never before due to remote working, is it still possible to love what you do? They believed it was.
The Brief
LiveTiles wanted to create a one day virtual conference that would fully express their brand proposition ‘Love Your Work’. The opportunity existed for LiveTiles to become the leading intelligent workplace brand, famous for creating experiences that inspire people to love their work.
Fundamental to the brief was that this was ‘not another webinar’. LiveTiles & Phoenix curated an exciting program with a balance of information, entertainment, interaction, inspiration & fun. Part music festival, part TedX, 100% celebration.
The Solution
Phoenix worked in close collaboration with LiveTiles’ in-house Creative Director & Chief Marketing Officer to design the concept, program and memorable experiences to bring the brand vision to life.
We landed on a one day virtual conference targeted at LiveTiles’ Asia Pacific audience to deliver an informative, entertaining, inspiring day of content from the world of business, technology, music, sport & comedy.
To amp up the high quality production values of the LYW Conference, we broadcast the MC and some of the speakers live from the iconic Plaza Ballroom in Melbourne. Using a skilled team of video producers, we streamed an HD video feed directly into the virtual event platform to give the audience the experience of a television broadcast.
There was a ‘main stage’ where keynote speakers, comedy sets and music performances took place, and three other themed stages with content focused on;
The content was a mix of live and pre-recorded formats including keynotes, interviews, panels & music performances.
The Accelevents platform accommodated content from the seven sponsors, in fully customised Virtual Exhibition Booths. This included videos, photos, downloadable white papers, chat with sponsor representatives & links to other online content. Leads were able to be captured for those sponsors from the virtual event platform.
The Phoenix team developed and executed a detailed plan to ensure the success of the Love Your Work Conference. This included:
The Results
1 Day Virtual Conference, 30 Speakers, 2 Rock Performances, 7 sponsors, 217,535 people reached during marketing campaign, 1,700 event registrations.
The Love Your Work Conference was truly in Phoenix’s sweet spot – a creative, logistical & technical challenge which enabled us to exercise all our innovation, organisation, vision and desire for excellence. Bringing our experience of concept design, program curation, entertainment and high end event delivery together in a virtual conference was an exhilarating and rewarding experience.
Attracting 1700 registrations for an inaugural virtual conference exceeded expectations and achieved LiveTiles’ goal of becoming the leading intelligent workplace brand. The LiveTiles Team were thrilled with the quality of production, creativity and expert program curation the Phoenix team brought to the LYW Conference.
