The Client: Pause Festival Pty Ltd
The brief – PAUSE FEST is fast becoming Australia’s largest innovation Conference since 2011, with 50/50 speaker gender diversity, an event which provides an industry epicentre, an event to help launch start-ups and prides itself on content you can’t find on google. 2019 being the biggest PAUSE FEST event to date with 270 speakers, 7 stages across Federation Square and ACMI, delegate hub social areas, activations, a large exhibition pavilion with over 20 platinum sponsors activating their own spaces. The Phoenix Team was engaged and were honoured to deliver this beast that is PAUSE FEST 2019 from all things logistics and execute the 3-day event on their behalf. Phoenix was responsible for front of house and registration, staff, stage managers, 50 volunteers, styling concept design, styling and execution, sub-contractor documentation, all exhibitors and activations, food & beverage, on-site signage, bump in and bump out.
6 months of high pressure planning, high end brand exposure with anticipation that erupted into 3 days of 2000 delegates attending, record crowds, all sessions were full to the brim, creative, business and technology speakers, exhibitors, meetups, panels and workshops filled with people from all over the globe. ‘Executed seamlessly’, were the words from our Client. As a team, we were very proud of this event and we are looking forward to PAUSE2020!
